Adam ForsythHead of Research
Adam has over twenty-seven year's experience in investment research focusing on electricity, new energy and clean technology companies operating in the UK and internationally. A civil engineering graduate, he initially worked for an environmental charity before completing an MBA in 1991. His investment career began as an electricity sector equity analyst with stockbroking firms in Edinburgh and London. After building a pan-European utilities research team for Robert Fleming, he became joint head of pan-European utilities research at JPMorgan Chase. In 2002, he left to join activist fund management company Platinum Fund Managers, which he co-managed until 2008. Joining Matrix Group in December 2008, he opened their Edinburgh office in 2010, before moving to Arden Partners in 2012 and then Cantor Fitzgerald in 2015. He has been top ranked in the Starmine and Extel Industry Awards and is a member of the CFA UK Energy Finance Special Interest Group leadership team.
Co-Head, Longspur Capital
Harry is co-head and founder of Longspur Capital. Harry was the CEO and founder of Temporis Wind Limited which invested in renewable energy projects, investing over $600m into alternative energy and power generation assets over last 8 years, including into onshore wind, ground-based solar, hydro, flexible generation and bioenergy projects. Previously, Harry had 11 years of investment banking experience with Gleacher & Co. and DLJ in both New York and London. He holds an MA from Oxford University.
Charlotte joined Longspur in 2020 as a Research Assistant after completing a MSc in Carbon Finance at the University of Edinburgh with a specialism in energy finance and low carbon and green investment. Previously she worked as a Finance Analyst at multinational companies for 4 years and is an exam-qualified Management Accountant (CIMA). Charlotte holds a MA (Cantab) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and is currently undertaking the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualifications.
